Production Information

Media Clip Specifications/Information

Media clips are produced in 1 frame per second, 160 x 120 24 bit video resolution, 11khz 8 bit Stereo audio, and compressed using the Cinepak Codec. Media encoding spec. preferences are to meet bandwidth and file (storage) size limitations.

    Media Production Process

    Media clips are produced using a series of bitmapped still images and interleaved with audio as AVI files using Personal AVI Editor. Real Player Clips are then created using the Real Encoder 5.1 or Real Producer 8, Windows Media Video with the Windows Media Encoder 7, and Quicktime Video with Quicktime Pro 4 or Adobe GoLive 4. Original still images are taken with a digital camera in 640x480 24 bit (16 million colors) resolution and original audio is recorded at 22khz 16 bit Stereo with Alsrack or obtained from source sound file.

    Future Plans

    We plan to include support for Quicktime, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, Windows Media, and Flash formats.
